History was made on Thursday, 16 November 2023 as the Rotary lnternational District Governor of District 9125, Rotarian Sagab Sani Ahmed paid a royal visit to His Imperial Majesty Oba Dr Mohood Lekan Balogun in his Alarere residence in company of many Rotarians.
Olubadan of Ibadanland while welcoming the DG to Ibadan recounted his experience that the significance of Kano state in his life, as the historic town and Kaduna hosted him during his sojourn at Ahmadu Bello University where he enjoyed very cordial relationship of friendship with late Abubakar Rimi and Balarabe Musa.
He further congratulated and applauded the District Governor for his impactful leadership that has made Rotary to remain a foremost humanitarian organization in terms of its impactful and beneficial projects and initiatives that is contributing positively to community development.
In his heartfelt response, the District Governor Sagab thanked the lmperial Majesty for his warmth reception and was full of praise for the tremendous growth that is visible in the nooks and crannies of lbadanland, as he beseech God Almighty to grant the monarch good health and unstoppable happiness.
Sagab also appreciated the charming Olori Olayinka Balogun for her significant supportive role.
In recognition of the huge fatherly role of the great monarch, His Imperial Majesty the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun was inducted as a Rotarian by the District Governor, to which the Kabiyesi was full of joy and happiness.
Among the entourage of the District Governor include but not limited to the Zonal Coordinator, Assistant Zonal Coordinators, District Secretary, Assistant Governors, Create Hope Presidents, Past District officers and leaders of Rotary clubs.
