The University of Ibadan has produced 722 doctorate degrees across various disciplines.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kayode Adebowale made the disclosure during the convocation ceremony held at the International Conference Centre of the University.
Prof. Adebowale disclosed that the graduands turned out this year by University of Ibadan is the highest in Africa.
“University of Ibadan is the flagship of postgraduate studies and will continue to make conducive environment for research and learning for optimal performance of entire students “.
The summary of 2023 Convocation Ceremonies Highest Degree showed that top three faculties with highest of graduands are; Faculty of Arts has the highest graduands, churning out 152, followed by Faculty of Education with 149 graduands and Faculty of Science with 89 graduands
