The Brain Builders Youth Development Initiatives (BBYDI) has in their bid to contributed to the solution to unemployment crisis in the country has take up digital training campaign to higher institution of learning, where yet to be graduated students will be equipping with necessary skills needed for survival and sustainability in the world outside the academic environment.

The training at Kwara College of Education, Kwara State detailing how educators can be creating online courses and training, and that will be earning them revenue to ease their academic finances, advance learning and make them independent of their own.

The trainer, Olasupo Abideen and his team look into the nitty-gritty of creating online courses and making course materials for a series of learning platforms online like Cooursera, Udemy, Alison Academy, and host of others.

Trained teachers and educators are not specifically meant to be teaching only within the four walls of the classroom, they have the opportunity to explore and take the teaching online and earn their living through it.

Considering the harmful effects of unemployment, coupled with the pestilence COVID-19, the trainer uses that to further emphasize the importance of going digital, rather than manual in this ever changing world.

Olasupo believed that, with the training, the rate of unemployment will drastically be reduced if it can be replicated across the country and academic environment.
