A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Oyo State, Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola, Congratulates President Bola Tinubu on his victory at Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) that was just concluded.
Akinjide in his congratulatory message to Tinubu thanks God on his behalf for having a smooth ride through the Election tribunal storms orchestrated by the opposition parties and their candidates challenging his victory in the February 25, 2023 presidential election where he polled a total of 8,794,726 votes to defeat his closest rivals, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 6,984,520 to emerge second, and Peter Gregory Obi of the Labour Party, who scored 6,101,533 votes to come third.
“It is not a tough work for the legal team of President Bola Tinubu. But still, we have to thank God that the legal battle has come to an end with a victory judgment as delivered by the PEPT, Justice Haruna Tsamani led Tribunal.”
“It is important to note that, President Tinubu has never been deterred by the tribunal proceedings in discharging the Renewed Hope Agenda he promised Nigerians during the electioneering process. And this victory will push him further in ensuring the deliverability of the economic emancipation and welfare agenda of all.”
“I want to again Congratulate my President and our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on this well deserved victory.” He concluded.
