In his quest to deliver the dividends of democracy to his people and revive the ailing educational system in the State, Hon. Olusunbo Olugbemi representing Oluyole Federal Constituency in the House of Representative in collaboration with The Nigerian Union of Teacher Oluyole LGA branch has continued his regular Summer Classes for secondary school students in his constituency, the free summer classes that have been running for three years is Hon. Olugbemi’s effort to keep students gainfully engaged during the period of vacation.
However, to further demonstrate his love and support for good scholarship, Hon Olugbemi has resolved to take the responsibility of sponsoring the WASSCE and NECO fees of the most outstanding set of students at the summer coaching school he organized for students in his Oluyole Federal Constituency.
The summer coaching class commenced on 17th August in two venues and will run till 17th September, 2018, and shall be rounded up with a mock exam to evaluate the level of assimilation of the students, and effectivity of the program, and the students with the best results shall be beneficiaries of the School certificate examinations sponsorship.
Hon. Olugbemi emphasized that the initiative will not only augment the burden of parents who have difficulties in paying the examination fees but would also serve as encouragement to spur students in the constituency in achieving great feats in their academics pursuit and also serve as a catalyst that would get students ready for academic activities on their resumption in school.
The summer classes which is being ran concurrently at ABE Technical Secondary School, Odo-Ona Elewe, Ibadan and Moslem Grammar School, Odinjo, Ibadan, Oyo State is a follow up to the “Olugbemi Schools Run” initiative which provides free school Bus to facilitate timely transportation of students and Teachers ‘to and fro’ their various of school within Oluyole Federal Constituency.
It would be recalled that Hon. Olugbemi also distributed free reading materials, past questions and thoroughly prepared solutions to the candidates that sat for the last UTME from the constituency. These various interventions of the Honorable are to ensure he fulfills his promises to the Electorates in his Constituency. Olugbemi emphasized that he will not relent in his toil to make life worthwhile for all and sundry in his constituency as he will not be deterred nor distracted in his resolve to fulfill his electoral promises.
