Sad, the first television network in Africa and in some other top European countries, Nigeria Television Authority, NTA, formerly known as Western Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation, WNBC, has been seen as one of the non-cherished historical heritages of Nigeria.
At 64, the broadcasting television station has been seen in a state of unkempt and worrisome as many of the amenities therein are too far from the reality of the present-day broadcasting station.
From the surrounding to the studio rooms and offices are begging for the attention of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The Ibadan network center has always been a pride as first television station in Africa. And a center of tourism for most people of the past and present generation.
But seeing the state the television station is at present, it thus call for urgent attention and refurbishment from the concerned authority and government.
