The former Commissioner for Finance in Oyo State, Mr. Bimbo Adekanmbi has on Saturday 4th January 2020 sued for peaceful coexistence among party members in the state.
The Ibadan born financial experts said this while addressing newsmen in Ibadan during the merriment of the new year party held at Carlton Gate Hotel, Ibadan, to bring people of different interest within the party to the same fold.
He further notes that; the interest of Oyo State should be the interest of all, and not other interest that won’t help in bringing the desirable development to the state.
He then urged all interest groups to sheath their sword and allow peace to reign for the interest of all.
The former commissioner did not fail to revealed his plan to establish a ‘Tech Hub’ in Ibadan, which he believes that, the initiative will help in the area of empowerment and legal engagement for our teeming unemployed youths.
“Imagine a situation where we having a E-platform, where we can engage thousands of our youths on technologies and career talks, as this having impacts on students and educated unemployed, so also the local community empowerment will be serving the uneducated youths. The world is now a global village, the situation has gone beyond focusing on buying clippers, buying Okada for youths as an empowerment, a rich word of mouth can changed the life of a growing youth for good. We need to add up innovations too.” the Ex-Commissioner added.
The New Year party successfully bring on board some National and State leaderships of the party, All Progressive Congress (APC) notably, Hon. Bolaji Afeez Repete (APC Deputy National Youth Leader), Alh. Mojeed Olaoya (Oyo APC State Secretary), Hon. Taiwo Ige (APC State Welfare Officer), Chief M. K. Laoye (APC Leader), Barr. Abayomi Okè (former Youth and Sport Commissioner), Chief Bayo Adelabu group, and many other personalities.
