It took me a while to conclude on what exactly to write as a tribute to a distinguished parliamentarian Teslim Kolawole Folarin as he turns 60 years old today, October 30,2023. I had known Sen. Folarin as a political strategist that has demonstrated that power is a took to be used responsibly, particularly as a political leader and friend of my late friend,Hon. Mogaji Kazeem Abiola Ayilara, exactly from year 2000.
I have watched very closely the political sojourn of TKF and l have come to a conclusion that he is a very brilliant politician who has come to dramatize in actions his theoretical knowledge gotten from the department of Political Science of the prestigious University of Ibadan. To those who are far from him,they assumed wrongly that his steps against other aspirants were a sign of a rift,but,in the true sense of it,it is just in the natural course of practicing and achieving Political aspirations.
TKF is a good leader that has learned to adapt to changing circumstances and make difficult decisions. Sen. Folarin has been able to motivate and inspire his followers to achieve common goals; also, he has inspired confidence and loyalty in his followers. As you turn 60,may you continue to flourish and may the Almighty God enable us to see glorious days in Oyo State nay Nigeria. TKF As fondly called,l wish you a very fruitful 60th birthday.
