Again Bolaji Gbengbeleku Supports 50 APC Members With Cash in Ona-Ara, To Relief The Effects Of Subsidy
One of the All Progressives Congress stalwarts and a prominent figure in Ona Ara LG, Bolaji Gbengbeleku, has again shown his support for the party loyalists in the local government area by offering financial assistance to 50 party faithfuls.
The support aims to further caution the partial effects of subsidy removal.
Bolaji who generously provides each loyalist with a sum of #10,000 to add to their existing businesses or use it in any area that can further boost their daily engagement and increase their daily earning.
This act of support from Gbengbeleku has been seen as a significant gesture within the party in Ona-Ara, as the nation grapples with the decision of the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu on removal of fuel subsidy which will yield long-term benefits to Nigeria and Nigerians.
Though concerns have been raised about the potential impact of the subsidy removal on the ordinary citizens, Gbengbeleku’s contribution, therefore, serves as a means to alleviate some of these concerns and provide a measure of relief to those who may be affected.
During the symbolic presentation of the cash support, Bolaji Gbengbeleku Foundation coordinator, Mr. Adebowale Babatunde explained that the decision to offer financial assistance to 50 loyalists of the party highlights Gbengbeleku’s commitment to the party and his belief in its little ability to address the partial challenges that may arise from subsidy removal by extending a helping hand to these loyalists.
Adebowale further stressed that Bolaji Gbengbeleku’s aim is to bolster the beneficiaries’ support for the APC and reinforce their belief in the party’s capacity to navigate through difficult times.
Adebowale also noted, all the beneficiaries were picked across all units in Ward 09 and assured other wards in the local government of such a gesture soonest.
When presenting the cash, Alhaji Oseni Alagbe said “the significance of such support cannot be understated, particularly in a party like APC which is not the party that’s ruling the state during this period.”
Alh. Oseni further explained that as citizens grapple with the potential consequences of subsidy removal, Gbengbeleku’s gesture resonates strongly within APC as a party and also not only provides immediate financial relief but also instills a sense of solidarity and unity among the loyalists of the party.
One of the beneficiaries, Alfa Lukman appreciate Gbengbeleku for thinking of something like this especially during this period when inflation as paralyzed the country economy.
He then pray that God in his infinite mercy grants all Bolaji Gbengbeleku’s heart desires.
