The Oyo State Governor-Elect, Engr. Seyi Makinde has cried out in warning the outgoing governor of the state, Sen. Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi to stop the plan of awarding what seem to be a questionable special projects they are planning to embark upon.

While making this know to the general public, Engr Seyi Makinde spokesman, Prince Dotun Oyelade, in a statement released alleged the state government of embarking on a needless and questionable special projects, and which according to him, N2.745m have been released for each of the 33 local governments of the state.

Engr Seyi Makinde, though his spokesman, also alleged that, the Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency, OYTROMA,  have been awarded undue contract from the government treasury, then making over N4B to have been carted away from the government purse.

He further explained that,  the excess crude oil account of the state have been emptied through the Ministry of Local Government and Cheiftaincy Affairs.

The governor elect also raises alarm that, Sen. Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi government is planning to recruit massively before handing over to him by May and that was aiming to create unnecessary financial burden for him while assuming office.
