The Students’ Union Government, SUG, of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH) has in a press release appreciate the immediate past Chairman, Board of Commissioners of the Nigeria Communications Commission, NCC, Prof. Adeolu Akande for his impact in the society, and most especially, education sector.
The students body in their appreciation message express their delight to the initiatives and intervention of the Commission, through her chairman, Adeolu Akande for the donations of 100 units of laptop for the institution and use of students in general.

The Students’ Union Government wishes to express her sincere appreciation to the immediate past NCC Chairman, PROF.ADEOLU AKANDE Esq for donating 100 Laptops to the institution to support teaching and research. The laptops were commissioned by one of his representatives HON Niyi Adeagbo yesterday 6th July, 2023, in the College ICT Centre.
The commissioning was attended by staff and students during which encomiums were poured on Prof. Adeolu Akande for his education support initiatives and for his empowerment programmes.
The Students’ Union Government also congratulate Prof. Adeolu Akande as he marked his 58th birthday on the 3rd of July, 2023 and cake was cut to commemorate his birthday anniversary.
Dr. Ajisebiobinrin representing Prof. Adeolu Akande while delivering the lecture emphasised the need and significant of community service and human development. While responding to the lecture delivered by Prof. Adeolu Akande, the union used the opportunity to request for bus for the Students’ Union. The Students’ Union also appealed to Prof. Adeolu Akande to extend his empowerment programmes and humanitarian services to the students and staff of the institution.
On behalf of the Students’ Union Executive led by COMR ASHIRU TAOFEEQ AKANNI (HONESTY), I expressed gratitude to Prof.Adeolu Akande and gave him a great accolades for his contributions to the growth and development of the institution and digital transformation in general.
