A chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola has assured constituents of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency that relief to cushion the effect of the recent fuel subsidy removal is coming soon.

 

Akinjide in a chit-chat with this newspaper, The Trailblazer News explained that the effects of the subsidy removal is hard on all Nigerians, irrespective of status, and President Bola Tinubu is aware of the development and reasons why he has not left any stone unturned to make things perfect for the good of all.

 

“Though the sudden change in price of every commodity and general economy due to the removal of fuel subsidy is strange and unplanned for by all of us. But we have to agree to make some sacrifices for the good of this country, and that is what we are all doing at the moment.”

 

“While the president has been continuously doing his very best to make life meaningful and livable through many programs and policies, we in our individual capacity have not relent in assisting our constituents in the very best possible and appropriate way.”

 

“I am as well personally working on possible programs that can bring sustainable succor and lasting relief to the good people of my federal constituency.”

 

“Yes, the plan is on the way, and it will be for public consumption in a matter of time.” He concluded.
