Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency has felicitated with the Muslim faithful on the occasion of 2023 Maolud Nabiyy celebration across the globe.

Akinjide while felicitating uses the opportunity to call on all Nigerians to be patriotic and dedicated to the growth and development of the country, Nigeria at each individual capacity.

In his speech, Akinjide narrated that “The prophet, Prophet Mohammed (SAW) that we are all celebrating today is a man that valued and embrace the virtues of hard work, and peaceful disposition to fellow humans, irrespective of faith, ideology, social class and ethnicity and corporate existence of humans.”

“It is then important for us all to sit and reflect on the right thing to do to make this country one we all can be proud of. Nigeria we all know or heard history of is not what we are having, it needs our collective efforts to put the country back on track by supporting the President Bola Tinubu administration.”

“The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) that we’re celebrating today is a perfect example that those in positions of authority need to be properly studied and picked from his numerous virtuous leadership skills and knowledge to lead rightly and for the good of humanity and country’s growth and development.”

“Why not put the blame of our problems on the leaders, the followers as well need to be patriotic to the country. Citizens generally should stop cursing those in positions of authority. The curses are what is making them repeat the same errors of yesterday. Let’s not stop supporting them with prayers, offer appropriate ideas with constructive criticism to make them amend and adjust where necessary.”
