The Presidential Elections Petition Tribunal (PEPT) has affirmed the electoral victory of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the last presidential election.
Recall that, the candidates of Labor Party, Mr. Gregory Peter Obi, PDP’s Atiku Abubakar, and that of Allied People Movement, APM challenged the Election results of the February presidential election that produces APC’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of the Election.
The petitions as understood centered around the eligibility of Bola Tinubu of APC as candidate, most especially on the certificate presented, INEC refusal to upload the Election results on the central server and other related issues characterised the petitions of the petitioners.
In their unanimous judgement, the PEPT judges nullify the petitioners’ petitions and affirmed the victory of President Bola Tinubu of APC.
