Former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN and chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Bayo Adelabu OFR, FCA, FCIB has called on Nigerians to be united and foster the sport of peaceful coexistence of the country while greeting the good people of Oyo State and Nigeria on the occasion of celebrating this year Eid-el-Kabir popular known as Ileya.

 

Adelabu in his Salah message to people of Oyo State and Nigeria expressed his joy and greater hope in the future of this country under the new administration of President Bola Tinubu

 

In his a press release made available to newsmen in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, Adelabu said “As we celebrate this joyous occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, I extend my warmest wishes to all Nigerians, and in particular, to the residents of Oyo State. May this festive season be filled with happiness, blessings, and the spirit of unity.”

 

“On this auspicious day, let us remember the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and strive to emulate his exemplary character and deeds. The Prophet’s life was a testament to compassion, humility, and justice. As we celebrate, let us reflect on these values and endeavor to embody them in our own lives.”

 

“In the diverse tapestry of our nation, let us recognize that our strength lies in our unity. We are a nation of different ethnicities, religions, and cultures, but we are bound together by our shared humanity.”

 

“As we come together to celebrate, let us also remember to pray for the peaceful coexistence of all Nigerians, irrespective of our differences. May love, understanding, and respect prevail in our interactions, fostering harmony and unity across the nation.”
