In celebrating the coronation and official installation the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Olalere Owolabi Olakunlehin, a chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC, in Oyo State, and hopeful of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola, has congratulated the people of Ibadanland and Oyo State on the breath of new monarch.
Akinola who described the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin as a foremost and respected elder statesman in Ibadan, and Oyo State right before his ascension to the stool of.Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The Ibadan-born politician, Akinola, further said “ Our Kabiesi, as a retired Military Officer, and to the rank of Major, is a core disciplinarian as exemplified during his years in military service.”
“It is a thing of joy and interesting to know that Kabiesi hails from my ancestral local government; Okugbaja Village, Akanran, Ona-Ara Local Government as his paternal hometown while his maternal hometown is Kusidi Village in Egbeda Local Government. The duo villages are located in my federal constituency; Egbeda/Ona-Ara.”
