Spread the love

The CEO of ARA Foundation and Oyo political chieftain, Princess Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja (ARA) has joined millions of Muslim faithful around the world in celebrating the New Islamic year which marks the historic migration of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) from Mecca to Medina.

In her statement made available to the newsmen in Ibadan, Hon. Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja described the new Islamic calendar as a point of reference to commitment, perseverance, consistency, and accomplishment.

“This significant event reminds us of the importance of perseverance, faith, and the pursuit of peace and justice. As we reflect on the Prophet’s journey, we are reminded of the values that unite us as a global community: peace, unity, and love.”

“In a world where division and strife often seem to dominate the headlines, we must come together to promote understanding, tolerance, and compassion. We must embrace our differences and celebrate our shared humanity.”

“As we celebrate Hijra 1446, let us recommit ourselves to spreading love, kindness, and peace. Let us strive to build bridges, not walls, and to foster a sense of community that transcends borders and boundaries.”

“May this new year bring us closer to a world where all people can live in harmony, dignity, and peace. May our hearts be filled with love, our minds be filled with wisdom, and our actions be guided by justice and compassion.”
