The Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Sen. Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonnu has yesterday displayed core attributes of a responsive representative when she visited Akesan Market to sympathize with the market traders at the popular market in the ancient town following incidence of a fire outbreak.
In a solidarity visit to the market women and men whose shops and valuables were burnt during the inferno and in furtherance of her humanitarian and responsive attributes, Senator Monsurat donated the sum of #1 Million to all the victims of the fire outbreak. She said “accept the occurrence as the wish of the Almighty God.”
In response to appreciate the humanitarian service being render by the distinguished Senator Monsurat, the victims could not hide their joy and quickly expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the Senator’s uncommon, prompt and positive gestures. They used the occasion to pray for the continued success of the Senator.
