EX-FOSSU NATIONAL SENATE PRESIDENT CONGRATULATES DR ADEWUSI ON HIS APPOINTMENT

I join my voice of congratulations with those of other well-wishers to congratulate Dr Ismail Adebayo Adewusi on his appointment as the Postmaster General and CEO of Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST). This is undoubtedly well-deserved as his stint in various administrative sectors speaks of excellence and productivity that resonates with the academic qualifications as well as experiences he had gathered.

I equally commend President Muhammadu Buhari for the hand of generosity that he extended to Ibarapaland. This act further sends some chill to our spine in the region that we are not being marginalized.

Just as Dr Adewusi fashioned out government economic blueprint which culminated into improved IGR in Lagos state, he should equally work out strategies that would transform the Nigerian Postal Service into a more relevant, thriving, and market-driven sector that can compete with evolving technologies in the world.

Though the journey would be tortuous, you will succeed in the office. Congratulations, once again.

Signed:
Com. Oke Wasiu Ayinde (Pattern)
Ex-FOSSU National Senate President
