Following the indefinite suspension of the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), AbdulRasheed Bawa by President Bola Tinubu, the commission’s Director of Operations, Abdulkarim Chukkol, is now at Acting Chairman, as directed by the President.
TheTrailblazerNews had earlier reported that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday suspended Bawa “to allow for proper investigation into his conduct while in office.”
The commission’s Director of Operations, Abdulkarim Chukkol, has reportedly represented the suspended Chairman in the past at a number of functions.
